The previous poster is right on the engine 9722, although there are additional wiring involved because it is a multi-engine FIT means it is a generic engine that replaces several different engines.

Keep it simple and get the same engine and you'll be better if you want to replace yourself.

You'll probably need a new capacitor so but I do not know what the CAP is in your system to recommend a replacement. It's in (and your) new engine to replace the interest and the capacitor to ensure that the new engine is not damaged by a defective capacitor.

If your device is trying York AO Smith Stock # 9722. You can also try to find a generic replacement using the stock number. Google AO Smith and distributors use the locator to find a location near you. This engine will not be that expensive if you do not want to go crazy trying to save a few dollars. If you know someone in business with WW Grainger, they could do for you wholesale. Good luck!
