Find Robin eggs in a nest (the nest was in the ventilation system of the air!)-HELP? There was a nest made by a robin that clogged the ventilation system of my house. There were little blue eggs inside unbroken. I had to take the nest, because it was clogging up the system! I took the eggs yesterday and they are still there today.
Before I say they are dead, I put the eggs in a small bowl provided with a soft cloth and tissue paper under a hot lamp. I put the egg against the light and I saw the red veins inside the egg, which means they are alive, right? I also think they are still alive because I saw a couple of moving inside the shell of the egg when I held to the light!
Today, a crack appears on a little tour of eggs. I did not make that crack so I think it is hatching!
WHAT TO DO?
I really want to help them hatch and fly away!
Thank you to all those suggestions!
Please feel free to ask me questions. I'll answer my earliest possible! > <
U thank you again.
Some people will probably tell you where the wrong move! but if you were good we go!
chances are they alive! the crack may be an outbreak or it may be because it is too hot! call the RSPCA and ask them for advice!
Unfortunately, they will probably never fly away and live a normal life, as they will not have a normal upbringing and care of baby birds is not easy! The RSPCA should help! Google RSPCA and get the issue!
Good luck!
joy!
However, I am no expert in this ... Maybe you should consult your local birdcalls?
:) Good luck!
Well, for the future, you should have tried to put the nest in a nearby tree, if possible. Parents would still take care of them, even if you hit the nest. You can try to find a local wildlife rehabilitation to take the baby in.
It is illegal to touch or disturb an active nest Robins. I doubt they will hatch, even if they are still alive, they need to be moisture free to own their eggs in a bowl does not provide heating lamp.
Take the thermometer man, slide underneath the eggs to tell me what the temperature reads. Stop wetting stuff and put it on the egg, I can walk right. Now you can get away with a temperature of 92 in the hall closet, where they are. You must move in the closet. Take the bulb lite off them. Do you have a heating pad? What are sitting on eggs?
You'll have to dig up worms, worms to chew a little, then holding open his mouth to soften baby spits the mixture into the mouth of the chick.
Or maybe not. <G>
Here's a page I found that may be useful.
