All Laundry Detergent

Is there a cheap and effective way to make laundry detergent all at home or do you know where I can buy some in Canada who is actually quite natural?

A tree of the laundry ... Duh. I think the trees are native to Nantucket.

Wash all your clothes in cold water without detergent.

It works really well, keeps my own clothers son (he is 6yo).

I am sure they are available in Canada as well.
