Imagine you just bought your first house and one of its equipment is integrated into an ironing board. The ba? Imagine you just bought your first home and one of its equipment is integrated into an ironing board. The base of the plate is hinged on a wall in a closet and it decreases from a vertical to a horizontal position when you open the closet door. Unfortunately the only support for the board is the hinge that locks into place. You will quickly discover that the council needs more support, if you want to add Back legs directly under the center of mass. The weight of the card is printed on its underside. How would you use common household items (like a bathroom scale) to find the center of mass of the ironing board non-uniform?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Place a stick or dowel between the bottom of the ironing board and scale. The installation program should be organized so that the stick is vertical and supported the Council in the horizontal position. The weight shown is the change that you move the stick at different points along the bottom. It will be closer to the bottom hinge and further from the hinge. When the weight value is equal to that of the board, you support the Council under its SO (or at least a distance equal to the hinge of the SO).
