Carrier furnace (gas). Why does my heating system shut down for hours and start again on itself? Carrier gas heating unit with 2 zones. A digital thermostats Carrier. Stop working for 8 or 9:00 and start working. Already adjusted the damper and replaced the max zone censorship. Does not the industry. It happens from time to time on cold nights. I would appreciate any guidance to solve this problem. Thank you
it could be a limit to try typing while off and get rid of this digital thermostat
Sounds like your "brain" goes wrong goes wrong or a lighter. Peace.
I bet it's a high limit switch
Check the program on your thermostat.
Make sure the oven is clean.
It looks like it is overheating during a long cold nights, then a lockout.
On some recent lockout caused by a failure will expire after a certain number of hours.
It could also be a failure of ignition.
To test my hypothesis guessing and when it is not heating you need to turn on the oven, then turn it on. If she was locked out it should restart the sequence of heating when the tstat calls for heat, which may occur immediately or not depending on the thermostat.
Also you can have a light that gives fault codes when it is locked out who will say what it is calling off the trigger. Some more recent A little window on the blower door panel to view the flashing LED. Include short and long flashes and compare to the legend inside of the door panel or blower outside. For example, often a long and three short is a pressure switch does not close.
Good Luck.
PS, another mind. Is this a model for condensation? I had one that was flowing slowly and lockouts would be the night when she would go far. The accumulation of water could cause a crash because the ignition switch could not sense it was clogged with water. Then later, when the water has drained it worked fine. Whether we took many trips to diagnose, because when I arrived the water had disappeared.
