Dimplex Electric Fires

Dimplex Electric FiresHelp dimplex electric fire?

Ive had my Dimplex electric fire, from December 9 until everything has been a few days ago. When I turn on the heater starts to sound a loud humming! Can somebody help me to stop or I ring Dimplex its warranty, nobody knows if they leave the house to watch because its installed in a comfortable home?

I'm not familiar with your camera, but it looks like an air circulation fan inside, and has "sucked" a small piece of paper or cellophane, or whatever, through the gate and debris that is hung up on fan blades or near the blades spinning, causing the "whirring" sound.

As it is under warranty, call 800 Company number customer service regarding the problem. I do not know if they have a technician go to your house to fix the problem, or if you must remove the device and ship it to them for warranty repair.

If I am right about the cause, you can do yourself, if you are mechanically inclined so as to be able to open the unit and remove the offending blockage. On the other hand, the unskilled working on it could cause damage that could invalidate your warranty protection.

If you are not qualified, then all good HVAC [heating, ventilation and air conditioning] technician must be qualified to fix it. Good luck.
