Gas Fireplace Logs

Gas Fireplace LogsIs gas valve in the wall enough for gas fireplace logs?

Install gas fireplace logs. I have a valve in the wall type of key. Do I need another hand my feed valve between rigid gas pipe and flexible gas connector go to the Shed?

I install and fix these to live and the valve you have in the wall is fine as long as you open it all the way when you use newspaper, we put a stop quarter turn in the chimney for make it easier to turn to us when we are the service logs. So basically, it's your choice whether to install, but for ease of maintenance I would like to install it.

What you need is a higher pressure valve. I encountered this same problem with my chimney. Everything that was there was a "boot log, just a burner to get a good fire with real wood. My brother, who has built dozens of them told me that they are valves at low pressure. Gas logs are supposed to use a higher pressure valve. Since then, he would have had to pull half of the chimney to replace the valve, I just used what was there, as a type of key you have. But they are not very effective, and eat a lot of gas.
