Ge Washing Machine Repair

Ge Washing Machine RepairWasher - Replace or repair????

2001 GE Washer. 2X used per week since 2001. It just stopped draining. (This is the machine, not the drainage.) Question: Is life expectancy about exhausted, or should I replace the pump? Or simply buy a new washing machine? Thank you.

Replacing the pump would be a wise decision in British Columbia is the only problem with it, then it will be cheaper. When these decisions keep that in mind. "If its not broken den keep it." If you have more problems with the machine, then replace it by all means but just fixing, it's your best bet.

Yeah, just replace the pump. It is time for that.

Woah!
First see if the transmission belt that goes from the pump is tight
Second see if a sock or other small object is stuck int pipe, it goes to the pump.
The machine is only 7 years. This is not the case towards the end of its useful life, given the use you describe.
