I have a new water heater ac power saving supposedly, but it never stops? I set up the timer to a buttton hoping it stops every hour or whatever the only way.
How can saving energy if it never stops. I'm frustrated. The owner's manual does not even have a customer service # to contact for more info. This is an area of Comfort Heat Controller Inc.
Help please
There are many factors of the effectiveness of the system including the location of the thermostat, refrigerant charge, the fan speed, product design, etc.
It is very possible that this system is too small, but more information is needed. Is it a heat pump?
Model #? What is the temperature outside?
Many factors are involved in choosing the right size of heating and cooling, insulation, cubic feet, the sunlight, occupation, etc.
Cool # 9
probably does not have a thermostat to control time for him to stop. It's probably just a energy saving because it consumes less energy, but it's your turn it on and off.
The best answer I can give you is to obtain warranty service for this device. I can not believe that in your owner's manual, they have no customer service number or warranty service. Is a liscensed contractor install this item for you? He should have shown you how the controls worked for that you were familiar with the basic operating procedures of that unit. Somewhere in your documents there should be a number of warranty and customer service number. If you do not get online and find the website of this company in particular. I am sure your problems are solved. When you reach the customer service #, consumer demand for the affairs of the division you will have a much better job talking to a representative of Consumer Affairs. You will need to explain what happened so that warranty work may be authorized by the manufacturer, because if you call someone without touching them, then you will be stuck with the bill. If you can not solve this problem with the company, then your next step is to call the State Attorney General office and ask for consumer affairs division, the companies seem to perk when they receive telephone calls or letters from a lawyer.
