Is high efficiency air conditioner units will be cheaper than my 13-conditioner efficiency standard H? Looks like a lot of juice used. SEER 13 is quite effective and the minimum standard being installed.
Check the temperature of air leaving a grill / Louvre - should be about 45 degrees. If OK, then go to the condensing unit, place one hand at least one foot above the fan to see if the exhaust air is hot or not. If it is not (to hold your hands above the fan without discomfort), the fins surrounding the condenser may need cleaning. Try watering the fins with water, then dry days to see the effect. If this does not work (temperature of the exhaust air remains the same), a technician check it out. If the fins are the culprit, he may have a chemical solution to clean them better.
How long before your race AC switched on and off?
