Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Manual

I replace my thermostat 4 years with a new Honeywell programmable thermostat RTH7500. However the old and new wiring configurations do not seem to line up right. Can someone with good experience in this area help me with the new wiring? What wire goes where?

My air conditioner is a FA4BNF036 Carrier. The sticker on the treatment of air shows "heat pump" with a 2-stage thermostat.

Red R & RC (jumper off)
Orange O / B
White to W2
Purple E
Y Yellow
Green G

Also check the program settings in the instructions.
O should energize the reversing valve cooling.

I installed a large number of thermostats and unless I can verify the functions of the leads, I call a contractor.
