Honeywell thermostat wiring RTH7500D for my heat pump? I really need help on wiring my unit heat pump (split-off and airhandler heat in the attic) to new Honeywell thermostat (RTH7500D. Following is the son of my old thermostat and honey. It has son 6: Y, O, X, W2, R, G
The new thermostat has the following terminal:
C, G, O, O / B, RC, R, AUX, E, L
PLEASE HELP.
Well some of the Y are the same son of the former rise from Y on the new. G go to G. R go to R or RC, but be sure to keep the jumper wire there. W2 go to AUX. O goes to O / B. Look in the instructions how to enter the Installer menu set-up, you must define the type of heat pump system with auxiliary heat. And find the change of heat pump over the valve setting and adjust the switching valve cooling setting. As for the XI'm not completely sure, it may be a common sense, he would go to C. Re position the brand and model of the old tstat. I'll check and try to help you.
New R & RC should already be jumped together, connect to the old R is the common thread.
Old New Y Y
Old-G to G new
O O Old news / B
Old-new E X
Old-W2 to the News
