Project management of the event is the process by which an event is planned, prepared and produced. As with any form of management, it includes the assessment, definition, acquisition, assignment, guidance, control and analysis of time, finances, people, products, services and other resources to achieve goals. The work of a project manager for the event is to oversee and organize all aspects of an event, including research, planning, organization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation design of an event, activity and production.
