Ironing From Home

Ironing From HomeWhat are the things I face in establishing a dry cleaning service at home? All help is greatly appreciated!?

I'm 22 and I want to start a business from home collection of peoples clean clothes, iron them and put them back. I was wondering what I need to consider include: insurance, scholarships available, advertising, etc. All the info and advice would be great!

I just started my own business and earned £ 35 for 2000 Flyer and 5000 business cards for £ 80 compared to other quotes I got was a flight! If you use a search engine and type in the advertising and just for all the free sites and get your business there. Get flyers and business cards to distribute at local, business houses etc. "It does not really work. Workshops domestic revenues, Shell Live-wire, the company, your local careers, etc. The list is endless. Contact them all and get your name out there. In Scotland, offering PSYBT a £ 1,000 grant to help start-up again. You can also go to a bank or building society and ask for an "angel" or guardian to help finance your project.

Contact your local SCORE for advice a lot of good in starting a business.

Good luck.

If it does take off, remember to contact the tax after three months, the penalties are very high if caught.

First have a good iron, with parameters for silks, shelves, make sure there is a steam iron, use distilled water only is used to spit on residues, a course board. spray starch, the magic works wonders on most any sizing, but jeans.Put the word, when you have enough customers to justify advertising Place an ad in the newspaper. You would be surprised how iron cannot and do not like people to pay for any dry-cleaned. Keep good records for income tax and business records. If you pick up and deliver, maintain records of mileage, because it is a business and the mileage is deductable. So iron, cardboard , electricity bill, starch, distilled water. If This business you are running and think of a pressing machine, my advice is to make a good main job.word of mouth is the best publicity you can launch get.Once remember, now that you are a man of business, act like a professional. dress as costumes and too.Not ties.just own advertising and get your wonderful clothes, even though her jeans and t-shirt

Advertise in your local newspaper. Ask your local stores if you can advertise in their windows. Give yourself a realistic area miles.Phone few insurance and check how it would be to insure against accidents. Pick up a book to keep records of what you did and how much you charged. keep a good list of on-coming and income ironing. Work during the month, the difference between and, hopefully you come out on top. I bought a printing press just a little. It saved me hours after the initial investment. I found that I was more than I spent. At the end of three months that I was good money. Good luck with your project.

Check with your local laundry mat that does not offer these services and see if you can work with them to offer their customers.

Flyers in supermarkets

you will probably need liability insurance.

You can also offer extras, such as selling clothes hangers, garment bags, the zipper suit covers, travel irons and adapters. You can also offer a service where you gently spray the garment with a solution of liquid softeners (the type board) for a small fee. .
