Kitchen Design

Kitchen Designkitchen design?

Still working on a design for a new kitchen. The seller is currently designing and for me the oven (in relief) and a fridge next to each other. She assured me that they could be close but I'm not sure. Help!

It's your kitchen, simply tell him where you want. It is common to have coast to coast but

There is no safety reason to avoid the side next place.

Proponents of the design feng shui would counsel against it. Fire and ice in this vicinity would create an imbalance in the room.

Another idea would be to put the refrigerator next to the sink, near the plumbing for the automatic ice maker and drain.

Blue and white

Personally, I think the fine for having to close, but aesthetically speaking, I separate them by a narrow cabinet to hold spices.

It is not ideal. kitchen design is an exercise in compromise. Everyone that I wish they had treated a little more space to work in. kitchens come in all shapes and sizes, as well as families who use them. You must place the refrigerator and oven side by side, until you are sure it is the layout that suits you best. Discuss with your designer. Make sure you have clearly conveyed that the new layout you want to accomplish. Explain that you are not comfortable with this provision. Request a layout with separate and seek an end to the advantages and disadvantages of each version.

so if you want to go for an effect camling, blue with soft colors, natural black furniture

Personally, I do not want my refrigerator and oven side by side.

For ideas, have you tried Home and Garden TV (www.hgtv.com)? There could be some good ideas there. I tried to go, but it was very slow. Otherwise, I did some research for you.

The ideal kitchen has the major appliances in a triangle shape with only 3 'or less to a counter to put things on. The refrigerator, stove and sink should be in a triangle with counter space between them, but not too many steps to minimize hand movements and execution stuff them all.

Having the refrigerator and oven side by side is not the real ideal in my opinion. You need space for each unit to serve your cooking equipment on the counter.

It is your kitchen! Get it as you want. Find out what the make and model it wishes to use, then go to Lowe's and Home Depot and ask people there or call a good repairman and ask him.

In general, it is a kind of small counter divider between them, but in our trailer season, they are side by side. With new equipment properly insulated, it should not be a problem.

It is your kitchen. And if you're not comfortable with the design, it should be changed. Make it what you want now - it's easier to change plans now to redo the kitchen again later.
