Kitchen Flooring

Kitchen FlooringKitchen floor?

We're about to renovate our kitchen. We currently have 12 x 12 vinyl pads, which are in good shape, but dropped in some areas.

What is the best flooring to go with? I like ceramic but I am concerned about the maintenance of grout like new (no stains)! My wife says that the ceramic is too cold on his feet!

Suggestions??

Thank you,
Alan

Ceramic is much more durable, sealed with grout so many layers it takes to reach a point where another layer will not be drawn uo by the grout, it should not stain. As far as cold, only if a whole on a slab, but will be hot if there is a heated basement below, or rolls of heat can be installed prior to installing floor tiles .

You can also go with a system like Pergo laminate flooring.

We have Pergo and I just love it. It is easy to clean and looks great! Very durable too.

Try Home Depot. They have a large selection of flooring, some look like ceramic, but without the sauce!

I would not put ceramic in the kitchen of my house.

I have looked forward to talk with friends who had.
Sooner or later, someone dropped a heavy pan or a bowl and you end up with a chip or crack Nice. If you want to fix it, is hard work.
