Transforming a laundry - a plan in five easy steps
The remodeling of the laundry room is pretty easy. This room is often the most neglected room in the house, but in a few simple steps, you can turn it into a functional, organized masterpiece you will be proud to show.
Here are five steps to an easy Laundry Remodel:
1. Parquet - If you do a complete renovation project, you might as well from the floor above! Tile or vinyl are the best options although laminate and wood floors can be used both.
2. Cabinets - If you do not already have cabinets in your laundry, you might consider adding them if you have the room. They not only add storage to your home, but they must increase the value of your home.
3. Walls and Decor - laundry Cute theme of works of art, whimsical sayings stenciled on the walls, vintage prints, black and white photos of your favorite family ... almost everything works as background laundry!
As for paint colors for small parts you may want to go with the soft light, or neutral colors. Dark colors can make an already small room seem smaller. If you have a large laundry room is well lit, you can go with a bolder color if you want.
4. Storage / Organization - Enjoy your space and plan your laundry room for optimal storage and organization. If you do not have room for cabinets, at least install a shelf above the washing machine and dryer. A basket that is sliding between the two devices is another way to squeeze every bit of storage space available outside the room.
5. Finishing Touches - Window treatments and a laundry mat Nice will help you put the finishing touches to the room.
Remember to look at the bigger picture when renovating your laundry room. All items that you choose for the room should complement each other.
