Lux 1500 Thermostat

We have a digital thermometer lux 1500 I set at 72 degrees and the temperature in the house is located at 82 degrees .. What kind of things can be wrong? blowing air vents is cold but its sooo hot here

It could be that the house is not insulated enough and the A / C is undersized for the amount of area it tries to cool.

Your cooling system is most likely the problem. Check your filter to make sure enough air passes over your coil.Check and see if it is frozen around the refrigeration lines. If your filter is sacked, try to close the system for an hour or two to defrost the coil. If this is not the issue, make sure your vents are all open ports and back are not blocked by furniture, etc. If none of this works, call your HVAC
