Payne Heat Pump

I have a heat pump 5 ton payne flashed and the thermostat Replace the filter, so I followed and advice on how to relax the thermostat. Continues to flash.

There will be a reset button somewhere, probably on the unit itself or behind the door of programming the thermostat. Look for owner's manual for the unit if it is not obvious.

Also try looking at the thermostat near ..... some (particularly White Rodgers) have "filters" under two different buttons. What this means is that you press both buttons together and reset it. The way the alert filter works is that it is essentially a timer. you reset it starts the countdown for another 30, 60, 90 days, which was placed and when Time's Up, it blinks to let you know Time's Up. if it did not reset it keep right on blinking
