Silver? I have one month to 17 years that the habit even try to use a fork / spoon. I show him how to work with him at every meal. Recent isn't either. I did this because he was about 12 months. ive used toddler spoons and metal spoons. I know your not suppose to compare children, but all the kids in my daycare girls when she went, we ate with spoons at this age. it doesn't even show an interest? All advice is appreciated.
My 16 months would not use silverware and did not want to feed it. I always put the silverware for her one day she just picked it up and started using it. All my worries were for nothing, I hope will be yours too.
T he use his hands to try to eat or you feed him if he did not use the same fork-spoon?
Just asking, because as you can feed him.
You need to put food on his fork / spoon and give him every time. Place a piece of food on the fork, he hands on him so he could feed himself, and then congratulated him for his use. You can not give him a fork or a spoon and wait for him to put food on it and eat.
Hello worry delicate ....,, soon have your daughter learn to use it. it is perhaps time for her to get use ... But DONT surprised if she can use it correctly!
It may still be young to be coordinated to do it. My daughter is 20 MB and it just started to use the spoon. Give him a spoon and let it experiment with it and allow it to his hands. Whether you want to watch and imitate what you do. My daughter likes to use two tablespoons (one in each hand) because it mimics a knife and fork :-)
