Can a 2.6KW Portable Cooler with these features:

2.6KW of cooling power (9000BTU).
Slimline design with remote control.
Self evaporating system.
Timer 24 hours.
LCD temperature display.


Would it keep a small cooler on a hot summer day? (In days of summer in Australia ... not too hot .. hot are around 40 degrees here, I think)

what you describe is a dehumidifier
if the temperature is only 40 degrees to what purpose, I think it becomes warmer than many, so go at least 5000 to 8000 btu a / c

only 105 degrees Fahrenheit now that s, s hot

Should do, as you remember to fill the water tank and accept that the cooling air is damp. Fine for a bedroom, not recommended for a room containing electronic equipment such as a computer.
