The fan is a very common object, is found in almost all households and their presence are so obvious that we hardly notice that we visit a home for the first time. How do you define a fan? Well, in short, is a device for moving air for a cool comfort. Just try to remember the shapes and sizes of fans that you met in your life and you will find it quite difficult to remember all of them. Fans, young and old, fans with large surfaces and fans with flat surfaces and varieties seem endless.

Then think about their use: the fans not only keep your house cool during the summer, it also brings the heat when it's freezing outside. The exhaust fan runs for ventilation, while the electric table fans are intended for personal wind generation. Fans are also commonly used for the purpose of van, which is the separation of grain hunting. Then, the fan of your vacuum cleaner helps you keep your house clean by vacuuming any dirt. It is not uncommon to use fans to dry things.

The fans we get to see all around us, hanging from the ceiling or mounted as exhaust fans, table fans as on the desktop, or fans gigantic industrial plants and so have a long and interesting history behind it. In fact the history of fans back thousands of years. In the early days of his invention, the fans were considered a status symbol of the aristocrats and the rich. They used to make the variety of materials, mainly from plants and decorated with works of art complex. In the old days, fans are not only used as cooling devices, often they have their value as clothing accessories. They have also been used in ceremonies and for decorative purposes. In many cultures, traditional uses of the flat hand fans are still prevalent.

The first fans of this kind have been found in many Egyptian tombs. In early civilizations, slaves were used to manipulate the fans to produce the breeze. In ancient South American civilizations like the Aztec or Maya, the feathers have been used to serve the purposes of fans.

In China, the first fans were known types of fans screen made of woven bamboo.

Modern fans are powered by electricity and generally consist of three to four rotating blades that move air and keep the atmosphere cool.
