Spacepak

SpacepakAnother question on the central air ... Has anyone "spacepak in their house?

Ad how are you doing this? They say you can in the attic - is that calm? Is it expensive? Did she ever break on you?

Here is a link if you are unsure whether or not you have:

I'm not one of these but I can tell you that the low-temperature systems at high speed have been used in commercial buildings for a long period. Some disadvantages of this type of system.

1) Cost of installation. The initial cost of equipment for this type of system is much higher than standard HVAC equipment. Also ductwork should be sealed more tightly to install conduit costs are higher. By the way literature claims that they require two leads round "like a vacuum system, but if you look at the installation information that the branch ducts are 2" round. There are more rectangular ducts fail to ducting industry.

2) Air mixing in space. Despite their claim to better mix the air, high-speed systems do not mix the air and causes many projects. Faster moving air feels more and more as a project. They claim that the volume of air is less there will be fewer drafts. Nonsense !!!!!!!!!

3) Noise. faster fans and air are just noisier.

4) More dry air. When the air is too dry, it causes lots of problems. Most of the time in commercial systems we end by adding humidifiers.

I hope it's a little help.
