Trane Equipment

We seek to replace fan coil 400 where I work and the construction manager is to recommend the equipment Goodman. My experience has been that Goodman is the lower end of the HVAC equipment that is unreliable and has many problems. I understand that there have been some changes over the past two years, but their equipment is better. I push for Trane, Carrier or Lennox. I welcome your opinion on the material Goodman, Thanks a million for your thoughts.

Trane is a pain in the *** because it owns. Want a Honeywell valve replacement for Sir universal unity? Not at all! Unable to do is a fcuking Trane. Carrier is good, very good units, never had a problem with any of them. Lennox is upmarket and will be expensive, but they are good too. Goodman ... Well, they work fine replacement parts are universal and easy to find, but yer right, they are mid-range. Someone did a cost / benefit analysis. I really have not had many problems with them and I installed a lot of Goodmans, but I prefer to be the installation of carriers or Lennox. It is probably just a prejudice, ignore my comments completely.

BTW, Amana is made by Goodman, and not vice versa. Janitrol is also made by Goodman. They are a great company. The more I think about my experiences with Goodman, the more I think they are not so bad. Do they have their problems? Sure. Are these problems important or widespread? Well not in my experience. Anyway, I'd still not Carrier.

Amana Goodman is my, my understanding is that it is a unit with a name Amana Goodman and not as a guarantee of good. there are only a few ac manufators there, Reem and Rudd is on the same assembly line, the carrier, Bryant (I think) and Payne are made on the same assembly line. Goodman put units in my house 2 years ago and have had no problems. What I like Goodman is where I live there is a local supply house that sell shares of Goodman and parts, they are not installers, just sales. if I needed a part I can get it today rather than having to order it or pay an "authorized reseller" which require them to install the game and God knows how the burden of work.

When you say the fan-coil do you mean by units of fir? those above the bath or shower room or do you mean air handling two different products, so I would go to the tree at Goodmans first company are not very good down the tree and they need feedback but if editing / Hi go with Goodman in this product they have made many improvements over time when they called junkitrols

you are correct in your assumption. Try Tappan ... or Gibson
They are manufactured by Nordyne .. They have a great warranty program and are really easy to find parts for.
Carrier Trane is good and is good too ... the only fall with carriers and Lennox is that you must return directly to their parties.

I would also add that, whatever brand you choose (high, medium or low range), he is led to the existing design and final installation will be the determining factor as to how each system works.
