inexpensive ways to make wedding table decorations? We will have more than 500 people at my sister's wedding and there are tables of 10.
For each table we want the centerpiece decorations, but we want to do ourselves.
Are there any ideas, websites, etc. to offer help and affordable ways to do this?
We bought some small fish bowls and small bags of pearly marble stones for a dollar each at the dollar store, put a fish seven gold medals in every hundred. The colors go with everything and the goldfish are very small gifts for children who come to the wedding. Throw some confetti glitter around them and develop dishes nuts hot glue lace and clear plastic disposable tableware and bowls magnify and distort things around them, just enough to look pretty. Congratulations Good luck and God bless!
Go to a craft store and get some candles and more glitter to put on the table. I would also place a disposable camera on each table that you have lots of pictures.
My marriage had tables Homegrown asparagus fern branches laid flat and my parents went to a wholesaler of flowers (early morning), two days before the wedding and buying the substance of florists would not buy in the wedding colors (lavender / peach) and floated in decorative bowls in the center of the table on the fern. Very nice, homemade and easy. You can probably rent sized "silver" bowls of anyone you rent chairs / tables.
Candles!

or you can also buy candles and float them on water (buy something to hold water) and each table with 3 or 5 candles
cheap candles
artificial flowers
Candy
You can make beauty centers with nothing more than the green of our gardens and arches. Take cuttings from small and let them sit to see how long it takes before they fade. That way, you know in advance, you can make the centerpieces.
Buy ribbons and silver or white Christmas balls in after-Christmas sales. Plastic ones are cheaper. Buy different sizes and textures (some shiny silver, etc. some frosted.;).
When you have all festoons using a thin wire and balls and cuttings. If you can afford it, buy some baby's breath mingled with the green.
You can also buy Christmas decorations after Christmas and changing balls (Just put the money where the red and white and green and gold are!) Then change to Holly with the baby's breath.
Send me an email if you need more assistance.
Good luck! I hope your sister has a great marriage!
I want fresh flowers on tables at my reception - and we thought it would be too costly. BUT we went to Albertsons and they ordered us 12 dozen roses (which was our color) for about $ 7 per dozen, and then we bought a few packets of Daisy and threw them in the arrangements too. Then we found some very pretty vases "DollarTree" so that all together it costs about $ 10 per table and everyone thought it was beautiful and thought we spent a lot more than us.
Some parts CENTER $ 10 or less
deep saucer filled with water, stones, petals and floating candles.
wine glasses with colored stones and bamboo cuttings
tall vases with rocks, water and fresh flowers
Wine glasses filled with lace / organza / lace candy wrappers (almonds, mint, chocolate, etc.)
Are many ideas, only need brainstorming, good luck
Large glass bowls glass peices in the bottom, floating candles with gold fish in them. theyre like 11 cents and it looks really cool
DIY centers may actually be better then the ones you get if you have a good eye.
Personally, I ".
