Weedkiller? The HGTV few months ago they had a recipe for weeding and I didn't get any Some were dishsoap 1 cup of Dawn, the rest I do not remember. If you have any info or you have your own recipe Ill wait.
My advice, and I speak as a licensed pesticide applicator and Landscape Supervisor / Designer, do not waste your time on home concoctions that may or may not work. Research the different brands to go online and get exactly the herbicides you need. The fact is: the weeds are killed by various different poisons. There is no panacea weedkiller "tonic" that works as well as laboratory and clinically tested product herbicides.
Here are two homemade recipes to try. Both must be used on plants you want to get rid of, taking care not to spray on surrounding plants. These are most effective when used on emerging weeds.
1 tablespoon gin
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tsp teaspoon dishwashing liquid
1 liter of hot water
Alternate version:
1 gallon of distilled vinegar
1 cup salt
1 tablespoon liquid dishwashing soap
Spray directly on the weeds in the garden or pour directly into cracks of walks and driveways.
This tonic can come from Jerry Baker, America's Master Gardener "- it has lots of recipes for different tonic, as the greening of your lawn, out of thatch, which deters slugs, etc., all made from household ingredients such as dish soap, ammonia, flat beer, tobacco juice, etc. Since you seem to be interested in it, you can see some of his books in the library or your local bookstore .
