Wilsonart problems with soil no evidence that water is announced? anyone else having problems with Wilsonart? Our new floor is sensitive to water and the edges Turm in place. Use only the solution for wet cleaning.
Wilsonart has several floors. I'm not sure you are using, but note the following:
1) Rolled expressly states that it should not be used in damp areas. He says he can t even use water to clean.
2) The products are impervious tiles but subsrate join the glue used to it can be. In fact, most adhesives used in flooring tiles loose when wet and the tiles are in place on the edges. Next, you must roll and let dry.
The story only water proof properties are transparent sheet or welded sheet floors installed with a base integral sanitation.
Good luck ...
I assume you are using Wilsonart laminate flooring. I put this down and have had no problems. It now seems that one day - a year ago. Moisture is the enemy of laminate flooring. Are you sure you do not allow excess moisture to sit on the floor, I suspect the moisture is coming from below. When installed on a concrete floor - do you put a moisture barrier under the floor (ie, clear plastic sheet)? Do you have a water leak which could be anywhere seeping under the floor. Good luck.
I have been in the flooring industry for 15 years and I have never been informed of a floor that is water proof. They could have secured the humidity, but no guarantee water proof. I have not had any problems with Wilsonart in general. All laminates are susceptible to water and heavy moisture. As Texas says I think there is another problem, other than simply damp mop. Similarly, when you installed your Wilsonart did you put the glue is not soluble in water in the joints? Wilsonart expressly guaranteed to use if you install in the region of the heavy moisture. As kitchen, bathroom, utility?
I sell laminate flooring, it looks like something other than water from washing the floor, talk to the place you bought it, if the floor is defective (unlikely but possible), they should be replaced. If you put in a pool or something you vinyl.
